Richard Kevis
Richard A.J. Kevis (he/him) is a writer, editor, and communications strategist based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Storytelling has always been his way of understanding the world and connecting with others. He wrote his first children’s books at the age of 10, published poetry at 14, and has never stopped creating since.
He is the author of The Waltz of Blades and The Minuet of Sorcery, with work featured in The Globe and Mail and 9th Level Games. His writing career spans novels, interactive storytelling, and Dungeons & Dragons world-building, with some of his fiction reaching best-seller lists.
Richard holds an Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing & Publishing from Sheridan College, where he combined hands-on publishing experience with formal education. He is drawn to stories that explore perception, communication, and identity, using narrative to make complex ideas more accessible.
Beyond writing, he is an experienced speaker and panelist, appearing at industry events, on podcasts, and in promotional videos. Whether creating his own work or editing someone else’s, he believes the right story can spark connection and leave a lasting impact.
